On the occasion of the inauguration of the new CARMEN WÜRTH FORUM and the expansion of the various event venues around the Würth company, a dedicated musical ensemble was presented to the public in July 2017 – the Würth Philharmoniker. The aim of this ambitious project from the very beginning was to establish for itself a place in the outstanding orchestral landscape of Baden-Württemberg and beyond, while also enriching the Hohenlohe region with high-quality classical music.
Each season, the Würth Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes numerous renowned artists to the podium and stage in Künzelsau, including Kent Nagano, Christian Thielemann, Jörg Widmann, Mischa Maisky, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, and Rudolf Buchbinder. Among the highlights of their biography are aria evenings featuring Kristīne Opolais, Sir Bryn Terfel, Joseph Calleja, Cecilia Bartoli, Julian Prégardien, Diana Damrau, and Elīna Garanča.
The Würth Philharmonic Orchestra enjoys a loyal concert audience, drawn not only from the region but regularly traveling from afar, captivated by its remarkably powerful and expressive sound. In all their interpretations, they demonstrate refined precision and nuanced artistry.
Every one of their concerts is a captivating experience, thanks to this unique combination and their palpable joy in performing, which draws listeners under its spell.
The Würth Philharmonic Orchestra can be experienced not only in Künzelsau but also in renowned concert halls internationally. They have already performed at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, London’s Cadogan Hall, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, the Great Festival Hall in Salzburg, as well as the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna, the Liederhalle in Stuttgart, and the Dubai Opera.
In November 2025, the Würth Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated its debut at the Berlin Philharmonie in a sold-out hall — another milestone in the history of this still young ensemble.
The Würth Philharmonic Orchestra regularly comes together in ensembles of varying compositions in addition to their symphony concerts.
They showcase a wide range of different concerts for various occasions. In chamber concerts in a small setting, they perform at home in the Reinhold Würth Hall, but also externally with selected programs.
This offers both the audience and the musicians the opportunity to experience the concert in a new setting and to get closer to the works of the composers.
The ensembles of the Würth Philharmoniker also perform at private and closed events. Are you looking for the best musical accompaniment for your event?
